If you’ve been into any of our Ian’s Pizzas, once you got done being dazzled by the array of slices in the window, you probably looked around and admired the artwork on the walls. We have a lot of customers ask who handles our graphic design and the answer is, the awesome folks at Alto Clef Productions.
What began as a group of Ian’s Pizza employees with a wide array of non-pizza skills has grown to be a standalone web & graphic design business that has Ian’s as just one of its clients. It was first Ian’s non-food-related spinoff business and we are very proud of them, although we may be a little biased since we have also delivered pizza with them, cooked with them, and still hang out with them at those, “what happens at the staff party, stays at the staff party” staff parties.
If you know of anyone who needs web or design work, here’s the pitch: ACP specializes in custom illustration, and will happily handle web design, print design, logo creation, Facebook customization, merchandise, writing, editing, PR, branding, and pretty much anything else you can throw their way. Drop ‘em a line at firstname.lastname@example.org — at the very least they make fun pen-pals.
Food Network Magazine went on a six-month, country-wide road trip to find the best pizza in every state, and guess who they picked for Wisconsin? Little old us!
We learned about it Monday via email, and didn’t quite believe it until we started getting calls on Tuesday from the local news channels.
“Aw, shucks,” we said, tugging at our forelock and scuffing our toe on the sidewalk. “We’re just glad people like what we’re doing.”
They specifically singled out our mac n’ cheese as, “… the ideal pie: golden, bubbly and extra cheesy.”
Really, though, this is quite an honor. Did you check out some of those other pizzas? Wow! We’re one fill-up away from hitting the road ourselves.
