Blog is such an ungainly word. I mean, I know the origins (web log…weblog…blog) but really. I would think that if someone really knew that it would take on such a life of its own, they would’ve given it a little more thought and made it better, you know?
Blog. It sounds like Blah and Bog, and that’s not a good place to be. No one wants to be associated with a bog, and if you’re blah, that’s no good either.
I guess it’s better that Wog, which is also how it could’ve gone, but really, it is unfortunate. That’s all.
