Raise your hand if you’ve got a dumb friend.
No, not that friend.
We mean the four-legged, furry variety.
If you love puppies, pizza or puppy chow, keep reading!
Dumb Friends League
Ian’s Pizza Denver is proud to announce our recent partnership with Dumb Friends League, a local animal shelter dedicated to ending pet homelessness and suffering. Originally an animal welfare group starting in England in 1910, the Dumb Friends League has worked long and hard to provide a strong, steadfast voice to our friends that cannot speak for themselves.
The Dumb Friends League of Denver is committed to the rescue of sick or neglected animals; providing shelter, veterinary care, and behavior training for homeless animals; and facilitating the adoption of homeless pets to new, forever homes. This is no small feat (pun intended!) and they cannot do it alone.
Here’s where we (and you!) come in…
When you purchase a bag of our fresh puppy chow, 10% of your purchase will be donated to the shelter. This money goes toward finding homes for animals and funding educational programs about animals. Call it Muddy Buddies, Monkey Munch, or Puppy Chow – it’s Chex cereal, peanut butter, chocolatey goodness and a side of giving back to the community ― a win-win for everyone involved.
Every month, Ian’s Pizza Denver will also feature a puppy of the month from the Dumb Friends League via an in-store display. Next time you stop in for pizza or puppy chow, why not consider adding a dog, too? (Pet delivery not included).
We thought this was a good match because we both love working with the Denver community as much as possible. Plus, helping our four-legged friends isn’t so bad, either.
