Charles Ray Easley was born in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Easley received his BA at the University of Houston in 2011, Currently he lives in Middleton, WI. He received his MA degree in painting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Spring 2014 and will
receive his MFA in painting in fall of 2014. Easley is a two-time recipient of the Lois
G. Roberts Scholarship and the Kenneth D. Brown and Robert G. Kaentje Scholarship.
Easley most recently has been published as a featured artist in Timber magazine
(Boulder, CO). Easley has spoke at MMOCA as a visiting artist and his work has been in
numerous exhibitions including the Capitol Lakes group show and Stacked/ Q&A at the
Madison Public Library. Easley will be presenting his MFA thesis show “Ghost Party” on
November 15, 2014 at the Art Lofts in Madison, WI.
